In 2010, Malene Birger decided to leave the business side of the company by selling her remaining shares to co-founder, IC Company's, in order to concentrate exclusively on her creative development and work in general. And in 2014, Malene chose to hand over 'the creative keys' to her Design Manager, Christina Exsteen and the design team. Christina has worked closely with Malene since the fashion house was founded. Today, Malene Birger is focusing on her other passions and inspirations - art and interior, in her new company BIRGER1962 launching during 2014.
